So... that kitten that showed up in my house months ago, skinny, weak-ish, starving, always crying for food but too afraid of humans to accept aid and hated by mother for... who knows why... she's nuts... anyway... eventually, through my efforts to gain her trust, I made it! By showing her respect and that I meant to harm she eventually learned to trust me. One day she finally let me pet her. She was still scared but gave in then I said, "This is petting. It is good, isn't it?". Since that day she began to look for me for attention, which I found quite interesting. She learned to trust my dad, my brother but the oddest thing is that my mother, who hated her now likes her!
Long story short, we finally can say we have adopted her. She received the name of Fiona and, amazingly, has got my mother's "permission" to stay indoors (she NEVER let any pet indoors. Except our bird and eventually a puppy dog of hers)! She's got her own bowl of food and water and shows to be a very smart and respectful cat! Doesn't jump on things, if you tell her not to do something she obeys, she does not beg for food (in fact, if she's hungry she, obviously meows asking for it, but she does it looking at her food bowl then at me or whoever is there at the moment then back at it again. Same thing for water.) and is quite playful and lovely. I love cats, always did. But it's been so long since my last cat I forgot how much I enjoy their company. :3 She's so adorable! <3
