Commission for Clazzeh of his nimbat character, Claz, and my dragon, Michael Braveheart.
Based on a real event, Claz (the person, not the character. Yes, they have the same name, too) wanted his nimbat chasing after his shed which was blown away by a strong summery wind gust and got sent flying away. On his "quest" to retrieve the fleeing shed, Claz (and the shed) passed by a large green dragon who simply could not quite comprehend, at first, what he was seeing. A flying, small, wood edification? How did this come to be!? Is the wind that strong today? How curious!
This picture has been in the works for a very long time, but thankfully, much less time than the last commission I did for Claz. With my daily routine always being so unpredictable, more often than I'd like, I wouldn't really have the proper time I'd need to properly dedicate myself to doing decent progress on this piece or any other. Also adding to this is the fact that I still struggle with that absurd lack of motivation that constantly drains all my will to do anything when I have the time. But I am fighting it. Proof of this is that I already managed to finish three artworks within two weeks! Way better than my average of one every six months.
Draw that nimbat was pretty fun, actually! I've never drawn one before and I think the face came out rather cute-looking! At least considering it was I who drew it and it was the first time I've done this species. The weird thing about this picture, however, is the shed. Not only I am not quite happy with how it turned out, but also, despite the fact that it is so simple-looking (and in fact, the simplest thing in the whole picture), it was the one thing I had most difficult in making. O.o And I have no idea why! D: Another thing is that I feel like this picture is lacking something. more specifically, something to represent the presence of a strong gust of wind. Sure, I did add some lines here and there to give the impression there is wind, but on the most, they just make it look like there is a soft breeze blowing. If I can think of a way to make some strong wind effects in a way that it works with the rest of the picture, I might come back to it to make this editing.
Well, here you go! I hope you like it, Claz. Thanks for commissioning and trusting me once more.

I wish I could draw like that!
I love drawing style and the dragon (of course)
